① Connect the battery clamps to the positive and negative poles of the car battery correctly, with the red clamp connected to the positive pole (+) and the black clamp connected to the negative pole (-).

② After ensuring that the start status indicator light is green, turn the car ignition switch to the jump start (START) position.

③ After the car starts, remove the battery clamps immediately.

During the discharge process, the battery is polarized. The greater the current, the greater the polarization. For the same current, the higher the temperature, the smaller the polarization. When it is cold, the battery has power but it is difficult to start. However, after using it several times, it can start the car normally again. In fact, when the high current is discharged, the internal temperature of the battery is heated, and the temperature rises, providing a good temperature environment for the internal battery to ensure high-power output to start the motor. Another point to point out is that when you cannot jump start for the first time, do not continue to use it immediately. Because of polarization, the battery voltage has not fully recovered.
