Recently, the CARKU R&D team embarked on a journey northward, conducting tests with the Heavy Duty 12V & 24V Jump Starter and the Heavy Truck Starting & Energy Storage Battery. They traveled through Nanchang, Zhengzhou, Shanxi, Baotou, and finally arrived in Hulunbuir City.
To ensure the effectiveness of the extreme cold testing, the R&D team specifically chose Hailar District in Inner Mongolia as the location for the low-temperature tests. Hailar District is located in the northwest of Hulunbuir League and experiences a significant drop in temperature due to cold air. The lowest temperature reached -39°C, creating a natural test environment for the heavy-duty jump starter series while also increasing the challenge for the testing team and the products being tested.
In the winter in northern regions, cars failing to start is a common occurrence. As the temperature drops, the charging and discharging capacity of batteries decreases significantly. When the temperature is too low, the battery's released current may not meet the required starting amount, resulting in difficulties in starting the vehicle.
In this testing, the R&D team provided free rescue assistance to various types of 24V trucks and cargo vehicles.
The main testing content included the starting performance of heavy-duty jump starters with different capacities in low-temperature conditions, the energy requirements for starting different types of trucks, and the performance of key components. Parameters such as the number of starts, peak current during startup, and average current during startup were measured.
The test results showed that both the Heavy Duty 12V & 24V Jump Starter and the Heavy Truck Starting & Energy Storage Battery performed well at temperatures close to -40°C. Despite the harsh weather conditions and extreme cold, making it difficult for engines to warm up, the products maintained stable power supply, successfully starting the vehicles continuously. This performance gained recognition from numerous truck owners, proving the quality of CARKU jump starters with actual data and experiences.
This testing involved a long journey of 5,000 kilometers, lasting for 13 days, and endured temperatures ranging from 20°C to -35°C, facing various weather challenges. It was successfully completed, fully demonstrating the strong R&D capabilities of CARKU products and laying a solid foundation for creating better products. We will also learn from the experience and customer feedback to provide customers with even better products and services.
