If not in use, it can be stored for 6-12 months. However, in order to extend the service life, it is recommended to charge it every three months. If the lithium battery is not used for a long time, its performance will deteriorate and may affect the starting effect.

When the car battery cannot start the car for various reasons, the CARKU Jump Starter will work wonders. First, check the power level of the CARKU Jump Starter, usually make sure that there are 3 bars or more. Connect the positive and negative poles of the battery clamp to the positive and negative poles of the car battery, red (positive) to red, black (negative) to black, and after clamping, insert the battery clamp plug into the CARKU Jump Starter, quickly turn the car key to the start position, and start the car (after clamping the battery clamp, the starting power supply will charge the car battery. If the battery clamp is clamped for too long, the starting power supply may be unable to start the car due to lack of power). If it still cannot start, wait for 30 seconds and then turn the key until it starts successfully. After starting successfully, unplug the battery clamp plug from the CARKU Jump Starter, and then remove the clamp from the car battery.

During the discharge process, the battery is polarized. The greater the current, the greater the polarization. For the same current, the higher the temperature, the smaller the polarization. When it is cold, the battery has power but it is difficult to start. However, after using it several times, it can start the car normally again. In fact, when the high current is discharged, the internal temperature of the battery is heated, and the temperature rises, providing a good temperature environment for the internal battery to ensure high-power output to start the motor. Another point to point out is that when you cannot jump start for the first time, do not continue to use it immediately. Because of polarization, the battery voltage has not fully recovered. Continuing to use it is easy to damage the internal battery and affect the high current output. Therefore, it is recommended that the interval between each start is about 30 seconds.

According to the Civil Aviation Administration's "Announcement on the Regulations for Civil Aviation Passengers Carrying Power Banks on Board", when passengers carry battery products on board, if the rated energy of the product does not exceed 100Wh, no approval from the airline is required; if the rated energy exceeds 100Wh but does not exceed 160Wh, it can be carried only after approval from the airline. The capacity of the CARKU Jump Starter JS-01 Deluxe Edition is 44.4wh, and each passenger can carry two. The capacity of the JS-03 model is 29.6Wh, and three can be carried.

Generally, imported cars are equipped with body system protection. Once the car runs out of power, the safety system stops running and the program is locked. Program decoding is required to connect the power supply to start the car, so to start an imported car, the car's own battery must have power.

Lithium cobalt oxide battery: high energy density, high starting current, and larger capacity for the same volume.

Lithium iron phosphate battery: good safety and long cycle life. It can be charged and discharged quickly with large current, has good high temperature performance, no memory effect, and is green and environmentally friendly; however, the capacity of batteries of the same volume is smaller than that of lithium cobalt oxide batteries.

1) Start in 2-3 seconds, remove after 30 seconds, and wait 30 seconds between each jump start.

2) The host power indicator light must be greater than or equal to 3 lights to jump start the car.

3) The single jump start time is within 3 seconds; it is recommended to wait more than 30 seconds between each jump start

Reason:

1) After jump starting, the product is in the engine compartment and the engine is running, which is unsafe

2) The product power is less than 3 grids and cannot be jump started

3) The interval between each jump start is 30 seconds to prevent the line from overheating and wait for the battery voltage to rise

1) First insert the blue connector of the battery clamp into the host, and make sure that the indicator light of the battery clamp is off.

2) Then correctly connect the battery clamp to the positive and negative poles of the car power supply, the red clamp to the positive pole of the battery (+), and the black clamp to the negative pole of the battery (-). The green light is on: it means that the connection is correct and the power is on, and you can jump start.

3) The red light is on and a buzzer sounds: it means that the positive and negative poles are connected incorrectly. Please reconnect correctly and jump start after the green light is on.

4) The green light flashes and a buzzer sounds: it means that the battery voltage is too low. Please press the BOOST button. After the green light is on, jump start within 30 seconds.

5) Neither the red or green lights are on, and there is no buzzer: it means that the battery may be completely damaged. Please make sure that the positive and negative poles are connected correctly, then press the BOOST button. After the green light is on, jump start within 30 seconds.
